If you choose to create a Libraprox account, we process the email address and password needed to authenticate you, verify your email address, maintain your account, and synchronize subscription access across supported devices:

• Passwords are handled by PocketBase authentication and are not stored in readable form by Libraprox.
• Unverified signup records expire automatically after the verification window; verified accounts remain until deletion or applicable retention cleanup.
• We do not run tracking analytics, marketing pixels, or advertising trackers.
• We do not use cookie technologies to monitor, identify, or target visitors.

2. Geolocation and Connection Checks

Our website features a connection status and IP check utility. The tool uses a combination of direct browser requests and a Libraprox verification Worker:

• Your browser performs direct queries to public geolocation and connection APIs, specifically https://ipwho.is and https://api4.ipify.org. These providers process your IP address under their own terms and privacy policies.
• Your browser also contacts a Libraprox Worker to verify whether the IP associated with the request matches an active Libraprox exit point. The Worker returns only a connection-status result, such as protected or not protected; it does not return the underlying server IP list.
• Libraprox does not intentionally retain the IP address used for this verification or link it to an account or browsing history. Cloudflare may process standard request metadata as part of providing the Worker infrastructure, subject to Cloudflare's terms and privacy policy.
